CLAMP plans to record each discussion and make them available later on YouTube.
There are four new Moodle: Liberal Arts Edition releases. There are no new LAE features; these are maintenance releases only. You can download the updates from the CLAMP code release archive.
The next stable releases are scheduled for mid-July. Moodle HQ has released Moodle 3.11 and CLAMP will evaluate it at the Summer 2021 Hack/Doc Fest (to be held online) and prepare a beta. CLAMP evaluated Moodle 3.9 and 3.10 at the Winter 2021 Hack/Doc Fest; please see CLAMP’s daily reports for details: Day 1, Day 2, and Day 3.
These releases were developed, packaged, and tested by Charles Fulton (Lafayette College) and Andrew Zito (Lafayette College).
CLAMP’s sixth CLAMP Chat will take place on Friday, April 23, from 2:00-3:00 PM Eastern Time. This chat will focus on Moodle’s PDF annotation feature. Topics covered will include how the document conversion works under the hood, selecting the right document converter, and common issues maintaining the functionality. The chat will be led by a panel featuring Carly Born (Carleton College), Charles Fulton (Lafayette College), Leslie Harris (Bucknell University), and Eric Merrill (Oakland University).
The chat will take place over Zoom. Please register for the chat using this link: https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZwpcO6hqz8uEtx_VeVD8jbUVf6H0FIRnQyH.
CLAMP Moodle Hack/Doc Fest, Summer 2021 will be held online from Tuesday, June 8 through Thursday, June 10, 2021. CLAMP’s Hack/Doc Fests are twice-yearly unconference-style events dedicated to improving the Moodle experience for liberal arts colleges.
There are two new Moodle: Liberal Arts Edition releases. CLAMP is releasing updated 3.10 and 3.9 releases to address a significant calendar corruption bug in MDL-71156. This fix, from Moodle HQ, reverts the change that caused the issue. If you already updated to 3.10.2 or 3.9.5 then you should see the linked tracker item for remediation options. You can download the updates from the CLAMP code release archive. The next stable releases are scheduled for mid-May.
These releases were developed, packaged, and tested by Kevin Wiliarty (Hampshire College) and Andrew Zito (Lafayette College). CLAMP thanks Eric Merrill of Oakland University for his diligence in finding and reporting the calendar corruption bug.
