Recently, Moodle.org announced a security advisory about a potential vulnerability involving course backups. The specifics of this vulnerability were included in an email to Moodle server admins, but in a nutshell, when doing full course backups, Moodle backs up local users and their passwords. We’ve release a security update to the Moodle: Liberal Arts Edition. v1.0.1 includes a critical security fix backported from Moodle 1.9.6.  You can get the update by downloading the full LAE v1.0.1 edition or the standalone update from the project home. Go to the Moodle Liberal Arts Edition v1.01 home page.
